Recount checklist 2018

Miss Ashley told us to go get our net books so we went to get them. The non kapa haka people in room 7 went out side. They also put our net books on the floor under the camera.

Paula, Isaia and Timote went with Miss Ashley to get the stuff from her car. Everybody else waited in the office. When they brang it we all went outside then miss told us our challenge. It was to make a tent so we all looked in the bag and got the equipment and started to make the tent.

We laid it out flat on the grass. the outer layer is called a fly so we put it out of the inner layer. We all shared the pegs around and pegged them down the inner layer of the tent. We grabbed the tent poles and combined them and threaded them through the tubes on the tent.

We had to turn the fly around because it was the wrong way. Miss Ashley bought a air bed but we couldn't pump it up so we used it as a blanket anyway. When we used the blanket I said in my head “it’s boiling hot.” Some people was in the tent waiting like me and some of the other people. But some people was outside doing the fly but like I said at the top it was the wrong way so we had to come out and put it the right way.

i felt good inside because we achieved a big goal in life because if you go camping you are prepared.
