Predator Free 2050 summary

85 years ago the first country to split from Gondwanaland was New Zealand. Gondwanaland is when all the earth's land is all in one spot and all was one big country but years later they all started to separate and become continantins. Which means the mammals that New zealand only has must have traveled there by flying or swimming.

Because New Zealand is an island there were no mammals so all the other animals like birds and insects became lazy because there were no predators to run from.

But later settlers brought pests such as stoats, possums and rats and they started to destroy all the native things in New Zealand. Did you know that New Zealand holds the record of having the worst extinctions, (that is not good)

New Zealand is trying to control the pests by using traps and poison. It is the whole of New Zealand's responsibility to take care of all the natives of New Zealand and to control all the pestes so they do not make any more native things extinct.

Tsunami

8 in the morning the boys Kymani, Kordell, Davlyn and Railey were still sleeping. When they woke up they Got ready for the day, they  brushed their teeth, ate their breakfast and lastly got changed.

But suddenly the whole city of New york heard a super loud siren. “What was that?” railey asked “I don’t know” said Davlyn, then they just carried on getting ready. It was warning them that a very dangerous tsunami, everybody was freaking out, it was all over the news. All the food supplies were gone at all the shops, shops like pak'nsave, new world and heaps of other shops all ran out of food everybody had to evacuate to the tallest mountain nearby.

While everybody was getting to safety the boys were just walking outside and While walking Railey Looked out the window and saw nothing but buildings. It was a ghost town, there were no cars and no people outside, it was super weird because the city was always packed. They did not know what to do or what happend. “Hello” yelled Kymani but no one replied “Where is everybody” yelled Davlyn. They drove to the beach, when they got there Kordell looked at the waves and the water and he knew that a big wave was coming because all the waves were small and the water was all the way out. “We need to get to a tall mountain,” Kordell yelled to warn the others, ``Why?”  Davlyn asked “because a tsunami is coming!!!!” Kordell answered  “WHAT, we need to go” shouted Kymani and Railey.

“Vroom” went the truck as fast as a cheater “where are we going” said Kymani “to Mt Wellington” said Davlyn. When they got there, there was no way up so they had to climb it. “I have some climbing gear, from when we went rock climbing” “were?” Railey asked “in the back of the car” said Kymani “3,2,1 climb” Kordell said. “We made it” said Davlyn “yay” celebrated everybody “and just in time to, look at the tsunami it just got to the city” said Railey. “That was scary,” said Kymani.

“Ok I think it’s done let’s go see” yelled Davlyn “woah” said everybody. “I think we can go down now” Davlyn said “ok” everybody replied. “Damn, look at all the floods” Kymani said while going down the mountain. “let's never do that ever again” said Railey while trying to catch his breath.

“This is going to be the best day of my life” said Davlyn “ OH YEAH, wait why?” said Kymani “because we are going to RAINBOWS END”. Davlyn and his friends Nitika, Jeff, Kymani and their teacher Kelly Rushed to the giant blue bus. Then they drove to the biggest Amusement park in the country(Rainbows End).

In the bus the bus driver was playing some music. While the music was playing and Kaymani liked to dance so he was wiggling in fully red clothes in his seat. “WOOOOO, wait Nitika I am scared of the Fear fall it Might be too high” said Jeff “no it isn't” said Nitika “yes it is, It is like all the way up to space!!!” Jeff Yelled “ Don’t be dramatic, fine Don’t worry I will sit next to you I am brave” said Nitika.

The legendary journey

        “GET UP” Railey yelled to wake up the others “ok ok” they replied “where are we going? again” Jeff asked “we are going on a journey to the North Pole\Antarctica to find the legendary beast” said Railey “OHH YEAH… wait, what I never knew that” Korrdell said “oh yeah I forgot to tell you” Railey said. “Whoosh” went Davlyns blanket flying off from Railey yanking his blanket off “GIVE IT BACK IT IS COLD!!!” Davlyn screenmend “GET UP!” Railey yelled back “ok... don’t need to yell” Davlyn wispeard “WHAT DID YOU SAY” Railey yelled “nothing, how did you hear me?'' Davlyn asked “I hear everything” Railey replied. “Here we go,” Railey said while driving off.

        “Here we go,” Railey said while driving off. “We are here” Railey said while celebrating, “ok legends tell the monster lives in a cave in a tall mountain” Railey said. What is the tallest mountain here?” Railey asked “probably that one over there it looks like it goes to outer space” Davlyn answered. “The snow is too deep for the car it will sink, We need to walk there” Jeff said “we need some gear I have some at the back of the car” said Davlyn. '' Ok then let's go” Wesley said. “It is cold'' Davlyn said “no it isn't” said Railey “yes it is it feels like I am going to freeze to death” Davlyn complained “you just get cold easily” Jeff said “so” Davlyn cried “fine have my beanie” Wesley said while giving it to him “thank you” Davlyn said while shivering.

         “What is that white thing  in the distance?” Jeff asked “where?” Davlyn asked “over there” Jeff said while pointing at the white figure in the snow. “It looks like it is getting bigger,” Said railey “no it is getting closer and it is a polar bear” Wesley screamed “RUN!!!” Davlyn yelled. Railey turned around and grabbed a gun out of his bag “BANG BANG” He shot the polar bear “that was close” Railey said while trying to catch his breath. “Any ways we made it let's start climbing” said Railey “we made it and there is the monster just look at it” said Davlyn  we just need a little bit of it’s blood.” Railey used an injection tool to get it’s blood and ran away.

“We made it, let's not ever do that again” and then they went home.
