Today we are learning how to do long division for example 704÷16, first you have to find out how many 16's fit in 70 that = 4 the we do 16x4=64 then we do 70-64=6 then we add the 6 to 4 and that make 64 the we do 64÷16 then that = 4 so our answer is 44. Another example is 231÷7, first we find out how many 7's in 23, there are 3 so we do 7x3 and that = 21 so we do 23-21=2, so then we add the 2 to the 1 to make 21 then we do 21÷7=3 so our answer is 33.
