A math problem. If you got a cacti on your birthday and you had to give it 3 mils of water a day in 1year that is how much water whould you need? my answer is 1095mils cause 365X3=1095 365 is one year and 3 is fro the 3 mils so that is how I got it.
Kia ora Davlyn, I like how you explain very clear how you got the multiplication problem 365 x 3 = 1095 from the numbers of days in a year and the amount of water per day, well done! I love Maths specially the "working out" part because it shows that no problem is too big when you can break it down in small steps right?!! It would be nice if you added how did you worked out 365 x 3, because I am sure you did used some place value partitioning to get the final answer, such as 300 x 3, 60 x 3, 5 x 3, am I right?
