How power comes to our homes
Power is made by water. This kind of power is known as hydropower. Water is stored in the dam from the rivers. This water is used to make the turbines spin. when the water spins very fast then power is produced. This power is then supplied through the transmitters. transmitters are big cables that carry power to the transformers. The transformers then supply power to the street poles and from there we get power into our homes. This is how power comes to our homes.
conductors and insulators
Conductors are elements through which charge can travel. You can get electrocuted if you have touch things through which charge is travelling.
Insulators are things that do not allow the charge to pass through.
Insulators are things that do not allow the charge to pass through.
