Rona and the angry moon!

Rona and the angry Moon!

I am going to tell you a legend about a woman who was taken by the angry moon. Rona was sleeping at night, the babies were crying because they were thirsty. She has to get some water because there was nothing.

So she went to get some water from the river but she had no light until the moon came out. She said "that's better" When she got there she had to be very careful so she didn't spill it. But the moon went hiding behind the clouds. She stumbled and she said " I hate you moon"! "You stupid face."

The moon peeked out and picked her up. she said "sorry!" She hungd on to a branch but it broke.

when you looked up at the full moon you might see Rona still holding the broken branch.

Information report about Tonga.

IALT write an information report about Tonga.

Tonga is a group of islands in the South Pacific Ocean and it is also known as the “Friendly Island."

Tonga is made up of 176 islands and there is only 36 islands are inhabited. The population is approximately 104, 000 and over 70% of the population live in the main island of Tongatapu. Tonga is divided into five main islands: Tongatapu, Vava’u, Hapa’ai, Niuas and ‘Eua.The capital of Tonga is Nuku’alofa.

Tonga is the only monarchy in the Pacific. Tongan and English are the official language and Tongan is a Polynesian language and it is closely related to Hawaiian, Niuean, and Samoan.

I like Tonga because it is small like me. I think it will take one day to get around all over it.
